    • A necktie holder for securing, around the neck of a wearer, an article of clothing having first and second ends includes: a central portion defining a channel that passes through the necktie holder, the central portion having first and second sides; and first and second wings extending, respectively, from the first and second sides of the central portion. The first and second wings each are arranged with respect to the central portion so that the necktie holder formed by the central portion and the first and second wings is the shape of a knot of a necktie. The channel is configured to permit the first and second ends of the article of clothing to slideably, snugly, and adjustably interact with the channel, whereby the necktie holder can be drawn upwardly over the first and second ends of the article of clothing toward the neck of the wearer.

    • The invention relates to a device for securing ties or the like and assumes the shape and function of a tie knot. It comprises a rigid visible part (1) with an uppper edge (2) where the section of the tie which goes around the wearer's neck emerges, and with a lower edge (5) where the free ends of the tie emerge. It also has a clip (8, 18, 28, 38, 48) which is attached by an articulation to the visible part (1). The clip has at least one closed position for pressing the tie against an opposing surface and an open position. The device holds the tie in position while being simple to use because the clip (8, 18, 28, 38, 48) consists of a bent wire unit and undergoes elastic deformation when changing from one position to another.

    • This invention relates to a necktie comprising moving parts made of metal, metal alloy, plastic or any material having similar stiffness. The hanging web portion (1) is attached to a body consisting of a front plate (2) and a rear plate (3) and resembling a necktie knot, by means of a globe joint (4) allowing free moving. In this body a spindle (7) connected to a spiral spring (1 1) is provided. In a preferred embodiment rotation of the spindle (7) is prevented by buttons (13) through grasping of a tooth gear (8) mounted on the axis of the spindle (7). Buttons (13) are biased by a spring (14). When buttons (13) are pressed gear (8) is allowed to rotate and the spindle (7) coils the neck ribbon (5) extending around the neck, due to the force of the spiral spring (11), thus the tightness of the necktie can be adjusted.
