摘要： Fluid connector assembly and methods usable to establish a sealed fluid connection. The connector assembly comprises a female union connector having an axial bore extending therethrough, internal threads, and an internal shoulder. The connector assembly also comprises two male connectors, each male connector having an axial bore extending therethrough and external threads. The connector assembly further comprises two ring- shaped seals adapted to form a fluid seal between the female union and the male connectors. The first seal contacts the first side of the internal shoulder and a front end of the first male connector to form a fluid seal therebetween. The second seal contacts the second side of the internal shoulder and a front end of the second male connector to form a second fluid seal therebetween.

The system suitably comprises a prime mover submersible within a first fluid; a pump means submersible within the first fluid and sealably coupled to the prime mover; and a fluid source in fluid communication with the prime mover, the fluid source providing a second fluid effective to act on the prime mover to power the pump means; wherein the second fluid is discharged in the first fluid after acting on the prime mover; and wherein the second fluid has a chemical composition substantially similar to the first fluid.

Further still, there is a cement retainer in communication with the emergency quick disconnect tool and the emergency pipe stroker tool, wherein the cement retainer is configured to act as a second mechanical barrier for the well, wherein, the emergency pipe stroker tool, the emergency quick disconnect tool, and the cement retainer act in coordination to seal a well while establishing the multiple mechanical barriers.

摘要： The present application is directed to a subsea separator. The subsea separator suitably comprises (a) a housing having an inlet for receiving a fluid mixture, a non-gaseous fluid outlet located along the housing at a point lower than the inlet, and a gas outlet located along the housing at a point higher than the inlet; (b) a deflector means located within the housing for acting on fluid entering the housing; and (c) a sealing means in communication with the gas outlet for preventing non-gaseous fluid from exiting the housing through the gas outlet, the sealing means being operationally configured to open and seal the gas outlet based on the volume of non-gaseous fluid within the separator; wherein the separator is operationally configured to operate under a differential pressure including a greater external hydrostatic pressure than internal pressure and vice versa.
