The system suitably comprises a prime mover submersible within a first fluid; a pump means submersible within the first fluid and sealably coupled to the prime mover; and a fluid source in fluid communication with the prime mover, the fluid source providing a second fluid effective to act on the prime mover to power the pump means; wherein the second fluid is discharged in the first fluid after acting on the prime mover; and wherein the second fluid has a chemical composition substantially similar to the first fluid.

The subsea separator suitably comprises (a) a housing having an inlet for receiving a fluid mixture, a non-gaseous fluid outlet located along the housing at a point lower than the inlet, and a gas outlet located along the housing at a point higher than the inlet; (b) a deflector means located within the housing for acting on fluid entering the housing; and (c) a sealing means in communication with the gas outlet for preventing non-gaseous fluid from exiting the housing through the gas outlet, the sealing means being operationally configured to open and seal the gas outlet based on the volume of non-gaseous fluid within the separator; wherein the separator is operationally configured to operate under a differential pressure including a greater external hydrostatic pressure than internal pressure and vice versa.

摘要： Embodiments usable within the scope of the present disclosure relate generally to a connector apparatus and methods usable to securely and repeatedly connect a sub-sea fluid conduit to another fluid conduit or well equipment, such as a manifold, a wellhead, a BOP, or other associated items. The disclosed embodiments further relate to systems and methods usable to remotely disconnect the fluid conduit and automatically shut off fluid flow therethrough. The male connector includes a flow control valve adapted to open upon connection with a female connector and to close upon disconnection from the female connector. The female connector is adapted to actuate the flow control valve of the male connector to the open position. The male connector includes a biasing member that actuates the flow control valve of the male connector to the closed position.

摘要： A skid-mounted chemical and hydrate remediation system including a subsea separator is described for use in the event of a hydrate plug with chemical injection. This system comprises a manifold which communicates between a subsea pipeline and a plurality of pumps located within a frame. This plurality of pumps comprises at least two pumps powered by ROV hydraulics which operate in series to extract fluid from the pipeline, and at least one chemical injection pump which communicates hydrate solvent through the manifold back into the pipeline. The system additionally comprises a coiled Iiquid/gas separator which separates the extracted fluid into liquid and gas components and returns them to the surface separately.

The system can comprise an upper floor having an opening therethrough, a lower base having an opening therethrough positioned below the upper floor, a first plurality of cylinders extending between the upper floor and lower base, and a riser tensioner. Each cylinder of the plurality of cylinders can be pivotally connected to the upper floor and lower base for moving the upper floor with respect to the lower base. The wash tool is modular and can be attached to a top sub or bottom sub, and may be used with or without a wireline.
