    • A device for drilling a bore hole in the ground comprises a rotary drive head and a hollow connecting rod (105) with which the rotary drive head engages and which can be lowered through the rotary drive head into the bore hole. The lower end of the connecting rod (105) is provided with a tool head with several drilling hammers (41) which operate downwards and powered by a fluid drive medium. In a first embodiment, a rotary connecting head (120) is provided in the upper region of the connecting rod (105); through the rotary connecting head, the upper end of the connecting rod (105) can be supplied with a fluid drive medium under high pressure and the rotary connecting head is provided in its housing (124) with a transfer chamber which is connected to an external feed line (123) for the fluid working medium and sealed axially on both sides.
