The connector body (2) and the media line (4) are enclosed on one side by a housing (8) formed particularly from housing shells, wherein the sealing function and a retaining function are split between the housing (8) and the connector body (2).

摘要： The invention relates to a line connection device (1) for releasably connecting at least two media conduits (2, 3) through which medium can flow, or a media conduit and an assembly, through which medium can flow, in order to remedy the problem of an unwanted loosening of a connection of a line connection device and a media conduit in the event of ice formation on the part of medium flowing therethrough and freezing at low ambient temperatures. Said line connection device (1) comprises at least one interior cavity (12, 12a, 12b) as a flow path for fluidly connecting the at least two media conduits (2, 3), or the media conduit (2, 3) with the assembly, and for media to pass through, and at least one coupling portion (10) for receiving a plug part (6) that can be connected to or is connected to a media conduit (2). In the region of the coupling portion (10), the interior cavity (12b) is dimensioned such that at least one insertion space (11) for overinsertion of the plug part (6) while plugging in and locking the same in place in the coupling portion (10) of the line connection device (1) is provided. At least one device is provided, which in an intermediate state between an operational state, during which medium flows through the media conduits (2, 3) and the line connection device (1), and during a frozen state, in which the medium inside the media conduit(s) (2, 3) and the line connection device (1) is frozen, diminishes the volume of the inner cavity (11, 11a, 12, 12a, 12b) and/or seals part of the inner cavity (11a) against a penetration of media and/or ice.
