摘要： One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for a pump technology that provides for more effective and efficient transfer of liquids, such as glycol products, in a glycol dehydration system. Such a technology can comprise a type of external gear pump that can effectively handle harsh conditions associated with glycol dehydration system at high pressures, while providing for longer pump life, effective operations at higher temperatures, and operations that account for thermal shock; with improved sealing capability, in a cost-effective system. An example pump may comprise hardened internal components, improved clearances, a jacket to mitigate thermal shock, and/or a thermal shock plate to mitigate thermal shock.

摘要： A pump for use in a high pressure pipeline, comprising: a pump bracket (1204) comprising a drive shaft cavity disposed along a longitudinal axis through the bracket; a first gear casing (1216) selectably, fixedly engaged with the bracket (1204), the first gear casing comprising a first gear chamber: a driver shaft (1202) operably disposed in the drive shaft cavity, the drive shaft operably engaged at a proximal end of the pump with a motor that provides rotation to the driver shaft (1202); a first driver gear (1208) selectably, fixedly engaged with the driver shaft (1202), the driver gear disposed in the first gear chamber; a first driven gear (1210), the first driven gear meshedly engaged with the first driver gear (1208), the driven gear selectably, fixedly engaged with a first driven shaft (1230) in the first gear chamber, such that the rotation of the first driver gear (1208) results in fluid being drawn into the first gear chamber on a first side, and discharged from the first gear chamber on a second side; and a casing head (1222) disposed at a distal end of the pump, the casing head selectably, fixedly engaged with the first gear casing (1216) and pump bracket (1204), the casing head comprising a driver shaft end cavity to operably hold the first driver shaft, the driver shaft end cavity closed at the distal end inside the casing head (1222).

摘要： One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for mitigating fluid loss or leakage from a fluid pump (150) with a rotating shaft (158) driving a pumping mechanism. A packing gland (202) component can have an internal seal formed by two dynamic 0-rings (322, 324) that allows for use of lubricants at high pressures, as well as an outer seal for greater prevention of fluid loss. Further, the packing gland component can be a retrofit for existing packing gland components to provide for greater life and efficiency as compared to the existing packing gland components. Additionally, in some implementations, a sleeve (606) may be fixedly attached to the rotating shaft between the packing gland and the shaft to provide a wear point for the packing gland.
