摘要： This invention relates to a method and composition for treatment of a hard surface. It particularly relates to a method and composition for treatment of a surface for imparting repellence of aqueous soils. It is an object to provide a hard surface cleaning composition providing soil and/or water repellence to a surface. It has been found that applying a composition comprising a trivalent metal ion, a saturated fatty acid salt and a silicone oil to a hard surface, renders said surface water repellent.

摘要： The invention relates to a method of treating a fabric. It particularly relates to a method of treating a fabric with a rinse product that reduce soil pickup and further ensures that the fabric is cleaner after the subsequent wash. It is thus, an object of the present invention to provide a method of treating a fabric to render the fabrics relatively more hydrophobic and especially to provide a method of treating a fabric during the rinse stage of the fabric cleaning process that reduces subsequent soiling of the fabric during use by the consumer. It has been found that contacting the fabric with a neutral aqueous solution, comprising a water- soluble zinc compound, a deposition aid selected from the group consisting of an amine compound or an amino acid and a soap before drying said fabric, provides the soil repellence to the fabric.

摘要： This invention relates to a method and composition for treatment of a substrate. It particularly relates to a method and composition for treatment of a fabric substrate for imparting repellency of aqueous and oily soils. It is an object of the present invention is to provide a method of treating a substrate to render the substrate more hydrophobic and to provide repellence to both oily and aqueous soils and stains. It has been found that hydrophobicity and stain-resistance can be imparted to a substrate by contacting the substrate with soap and a water-soluble compound of trivalent or tetravalent metal in presence of water under specific range of pH, while the further addition of a quaternary silicone oil imparts oily soil repellence.

摘要： The present invention is in the field of hard surface treatment compositions. The invention particularly relates to hard surface treatment compositions that provide easier cleaning upon the subsequent cleaning. It is an object of the present invention to provide a composition that, upon use, renders a surface hydrophobic and to provide good cleaning. It has been found that poly aluminium chloride and a soap in combination with a poly vinyl alcohol and non-ionic or cationic surfactant provides both good cleaning and good stain/soil repellence.

摘要： The present invention relates to a composition and a method for treating substrates, such as fabrics; particularly to make the substrate stain repellent. The invention has been developed primarily for use on fabrics and glass, and will be described hereinafter with reference to these applications. It is an object of the present invention to provide both aqueous and oily stain repellence. We have found that some or all the problems of prior art may be solved or ameliorated with aqueous-alcoholic compositions which include a water-soluble salt of a multivalent metal ion, and a fluoro alkoxy silane with the ratio of water-soluble salt: fluoro alkoxy silane is from1:5 to 5:1.

摘要： The present invention relates to a stain repellence composition for treating a substrate. More particularly the present invention relates to a composition for hydrophilic stain repellence and process for making a substrate repellent to hydrophilic stains. It is an object of the present invention to provide a composition that renders a substrate hydrophobic; and thereby make a substrate repellent to hydrophilic stains. It has now been found that, a complex of zinc and triethanolamine in the presence of soap and a salt of a trivalent metal ion and/or tetravalent metal ion in an alcohol based medium is suitable for use as a direct application hydrophilic stain repellence composition on the substrate and can make the substrate hydrophobic.

More particularly the present invention relates to a composition for hydrophilic stain repellence and process for making a substrate repellent to hydrophilic stains. 摘要： The present invention relates to a composition and a method for treating substrates, in particular hard surfaces, to make the substrate hydrophilic; and for imparting anti-fogging / anti-condensation properties onto said surface. The object of the present invention is to provide a composition for rendering a surface less susceptible for vapour deposition, rendering a surface hydrophilic, making it less susceptible to fogging and frost deposition. It has been found that a composition comprising poly aluminium chloride, a polycarboxylate polymer and a weak acid, when applied to a surface, renders said surface super hydrophilic, thus causing the repellence of small water droplets to provide and anti-fogging effect.

摘要： It has been reported that many organic sunscreens lose their efficacy on exposure to UV rays. Further some of the organic sunscreens are known to interact with each other when applied on the skin with or without exposure to UV radiation. Thus such compositions are not stable. They are not very effective in blocking the UV-rays a few minutes or hours after the product has been applied to the skin. Further when such compositions are used and then exposed to sunlight or UV rays, the period over which the skin is actually protected is very short, while the consumer is under the mistaken impression that the composition is protecting his/her skin. This false impression can lead to the consumer exposing himself/herself more to sunlight thereby getting more damage to the skin. A solution to the foregoing problem is provided by a stable sunscreen composition comprising: (a) a complex of a first organic sunscreen with a first paramagnetic metal ion; and (b) a second organic sunscreen.
