    • A safety binding for skis comprises at least one transducer which converts forces acting on the binding into electrical signals, and an evaluation circuit connected to a release device and to the transducer. The evaluation circuit comprises a threshold circuit having at least two threshold values, one output of which activates the release device, and a time circuit connected to the release device. The transducer(s) is (are) connected to the input of the threshold circuit and to the input of the time circuit. To enable the release characteristic curve of the safety binding to be adapted to the load-bearing capacity of the user, the time circuit consists of an oscillator (5) of controllable frequency and a meter (3) connected downstream of the latter and connected through a comparator (9) to the release device.
