摘要： A data logging device comprises a fluid reservoir (7) containing a fluid. A porous media (3) is provided through which the fluid can pass, and a valve (2) connects the reservoir (7) and the porous media (3) and controls flow there between. An actuator (6) is configured to actuate the valve (2) when the device crosses a predetermined applied parameter threshold so that the fluid can flow from the reservoir (7) along the porous media (3); such that the article is arranged to provide, in use, an indication of the progress of the fluid through the porous media (3) to indicate the total time that was spent by the device past the predetermined parameter threshold.
