摘要： An absorbent article, such as a diaper, sanitary napkin, adult incontinent device, and the like having fused layers is provided. The absorbent article preferably comprises a liquid pervious thermoplastic apertured film topsheet, a liquid impervious backsheet, an absorbent core, and a fibrous acquisition web of spunlaced nonwoven fibers. The absorbent core is positioned between the topsheet and backsheet which are joined at least about a portion of the periphery of the absorbent article and the topsheet is fused to the acquisition web at discrete points of attachment. The acquisition web is positioned between the topsheet and the absorbent core.

摘要： A sanitary napkin having an improved release liner. The sanitary napkin includes a liquid pervious topsheet, a liquid impervious backsheet joined to the topsheet, and an absorbent core positioned between the topsheet and the backsheet. The backsheet has an inner surface and an outer surface. Adhesive attachment means, such as a pressure sensitive adhesive, is positioned on the outer surface of the backsheet for securing the sanitary napkin in the crotch portion of a user's panty or undergarment. A release liner is releasably affixed to the adhesive attachment means in order to keep the adhesive attachment means from adhering to a surface other than the crotch portion of the panty prior to use. The release liner comprises a microapertured polymeric web.

摘要： Disclosed is a sanitary napkin (20) having flaps (78) folded over the topsheet (22). This arrangement helps to maintain the topsheet in a sanitary condition and is more convenient for the wearer than a configuration having the flaps folded over the backsheet. The flaps (28) may be maintained in this folded arrangement by a unitary release strip (46) which bridges the flaps and covers any adhesive (40) used to attach the flaps (28) to the undergarment. If desired, the release paper (46) may further wrap the longitudinal side margins (30) on the sanitary napkin to additionally cover adhesive (42) disposed on the central portion of the backsheet. If desired, the flaps (28) may be folded over the topsheet (22), overlap each other and be adhesively (40) joined to the other flap.
