摘要： Embodiments herein relate to a method performed by a radio-network node (110) for handling Beam Reference Signals, BRS, of a beam transmitted by the radio-network node (110) in a wireless communications network. The radio-network node creates BRS blocks, wherein each BRS block comprises a respective group of adjacent subcarriers for the BRS belonging to a port of the beam, wherein the BRS belonging to the port is carried over each subcarrier in the respective group of adjacent subcarriers of each BRS block. 摘要： Independent power-control procedures per beam-pair link (BPL). In one embodiment, such a power-control procedure comprises: 1) an open-loop part based on the estimated DL path loss for the active and back-up (or "non-active") BPLs in the UE and 2) a closed-loop part where the UL power-control adjustment commands are transmitted from the network and accumulated in the UE independently per active BPL. When an upcoming ability to serve a Wireless Device (WD) 210 using a current NN beam is predicted to be lost based on historic data, the NN selects an upcoming NN beam out of one or more candidate NN beams that are able to serve the WD when the NN has lost ability to serve the WD using the current NN beam. The NN configures a dedicated Beam Reference Signal (BRS) for the upcoming NN beam, which is to be detected in beam selection by the WD when the NN loses ability to serve the wireless device using the current NN beam. 摘要： Beam-pair link (BPL) uplink timing measurements and timing adjustments are introduced. That is, in some embodiments, separate timing-advance handling for separate BPLs is introduced such that each BPL is operated using a timing advance that matches the transmission conditions and capabilities of the UE. For instance, in some embodiments, for each BPL, the UE stores a distinct uplink (UL) timing-advance value (TAV). Thus, in such embodiments, if, for example, the UE has two monitored BPLs (e.g., one active BPL and one non-active BPL, or two active BPLs), the UE will store two distinct TAVs, one TAV for the first BPL and a separate TAV for the second BPL. Additionally, in some embodiments, in scenarios in which a UE only supports a single UL inverse FFT timing window, all active BPLs for the UE will have the same UL TAV.

摘要： An event-triggered mechanism for causing a UE to perform a transmission burst as a result of detecting a need to support a BPL during a transition in the transmission environment. An advantage of such an event-triggered mechanism is that beam tracking of a BPL that requires UL transmissions to maintain the tracking can be supported by a transmission burst without the need for either semi-statically configured SRS, which is too slow to control, or PDCCH based scheduling for every transmission, which may prove unreliable and wasteful of control-channel resources.
