摘要： The present invention relates to a system and related device for emulating the behaviour of mobile networks independently from the manners of collecting data about the behaviour of the network, be they obtained through a simulation of field measurements. The system emulates the behaviour of the network during the exchange of information between terminals and uses an emulation device (12) comprising two circuit blocks (20, 30) able, respectively, the first to process the information according to time sequences corresponding to those of mobile networks, the second one to exchange information between the terminals connected to suitable interfaces (35, 36). Thanks to the architecture described above it is possible to emulate uplink and downlink functions of the mobile network, making perceptible on the terminals the effects of the behaviour of the network in the various operating conditions.

摘要： The present invention refers to a method for simulating a mobile telephone network with shared-access channels. The simulation method comprises the steps of simulating at least a first and a second configuration of said mobile telephone network that are statistically independent one from the other. Each one of said steps of simulating comprises at least the steps of: determining a number of mobile terminals generating a packet data traffic; assigning to a list of mobile terminals, included in said number of mobile terminals generating a packet data traffic, at least one shared-access channel of said mobile telephone network to be simulated; and performing a scheduling management algorithm of said list of mobile terminals on said shared-access channel.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method of evaluating the performance of a mobile telephone network, comprising at least a first (102, 201) and a second (202) simulation of a first and a second network configuration, respectively, which are statistically independent of each other. Each simulation (102, 201, 202) comprises the following steps: specifying a total number of users to be simulated N UETOT (s); determining (103, 203, 204, 205, 206) a sequence of activation of user blocks N UESTEP (s) included in this total number of users to be simulated N UETOT (s) and indicating a traffic distribution; activating (103, 203, 204, 205, 206) said user blocks in succession until said total number of users to be simulated N UETOT (s) is reached; processing (103, 106, 109, 203, 204, 205, 206) at least one radio resource management event relating to the traffic distribution associated with each currently activated user block. The simulations (102, 201, 202) are repeated until a predetermined accuracy threshold is reached for each simulated network value.
