摘要： An orientation determination device comprises data input circuitry configured to obtain magnetic field sensor data comprising at least two magnetic field measurements sensed by one or more magnetic field sensors at spatially separate positions and/or in separate frequency ranges and/or at different times and/or at different codes, position input circuitry configured to obtain a position estimate of the one or more positions of the one or more magnetic field sensors, at which the magnetic field sensor data have been acquired, and estimation circuitry configured to derive, from a magnetic map, azimuth and inclination data at the one or more positions of the one or more magnetic field sensors indicated by the obtained position estimate and to estimate the orientation of the orientation determination device based on the obtained magnetic field sensor data and the azimuth and inclination data derived from the magnetic map.

摘要： A coding and modulation apparatus and method are presented, particularly for use in a system according to IEEE 802.11. The apparatus comprises an encoder configured to encode input data into cell words according to a low density parity check code (LDPC) and a modulator configured to modulate said cell words into constellation values of a non-uniform constellation and to assign bit combinations to constellation values of the used non-uniform constellation, wherein said modulator is configured to use, based on the total number N of constellation points of the constellation and the code rate R, a particular non-uniform constellation, which has been optimized using the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) and/or phase noise power.
