摘要： There is provided a hearing assistance system, comprising at least a first hearing device (10) to be worn at one ear (60) of a user, the first hearing device comprising a 3-axes accelerometer sensor (42) for generating an acceleration signal indicative of the acceleration of the first hearing device, and an orientation sensor (44) for generating an orientation signal indicative of the azimuthal orientation of the first hearing device, wherein the orientation sensor is selected from the group consisting of a 3-axes magnetic compass sensor and a 3-axes gyroscope sensor, and wherein the system comprises a judgement unit (40) for judging, by analyzing the acceleration signal and the orientation signal of the first hearing device, whether the first hearing device is presently worn at the right ear (60) or at the left ear (61) of the user.

摘要： Provided is a method of mounting at least one hearing device component (14) inside a hearing device shell (12). Said method comprises the steps of threading a fixture means (16) through a hole (18) formed in the wall of the hearing device shell (12) and attaching the hearing device component (14) to the end of the portion of the fixture means (16) protruding into the inside of the hearing device shell (12). The method further comprises manipulating the portion of the fixture means (16) protruding to the outside of the hearing device shell (12) such to position the hearing device component (14) in a predetermined position, and fixing the positioned hearing device component (14) to the inner wall of the hearing device shell (12).
