    • A personal protective equipment (PPE) monitoring system is disclosed that includes a set of wireless transmitting devices and a mobile application executable on a mobile device. The mobile device receives a wireless signal from a transmitting device associated with a workstation and determines the type of workstation based on an identifier included in the wireless signal. The mobile device also receives wireless signals from transmitting devices attached to PPE items located in proximity to the mobile device and determines the types of PPE items based on respective identifiers included in the wireless signals. The mobile application determines PPE items required to operate equipment at the workstation and further determines whether the set of detected PPE items includes all of the required PPE items. The mobile application generates a user interface that indicates the presence or absence of each required PPE item and displays the UI on the mobile device.

    • Technical solutions are described for semantic integration of wearable sensors into professional healthcare. One general aspect includes a method that includes receiving, by a communication interface, a disease identifier associated with a patient. The method also includes identifying, by an analysis unit, a measurement identifier based on the disease identifier, where the measurement identifier identifies a health parameter of the patient that is to be monitored. The method also includes receiving, by the communication interface, an anatomy identifier that identifies a body- part of the patient to be used to monitor the health parameter. The method also includes identifying, by a device search unit, a wearable device to monitor the health parameter of the patient at the body-part based on the measurement identifier and the anatomy identifier.     • Embodiments include methods, systems and computer program products for integrating personal context information into a professional healthcare system. Aspects include receiving physical condition data for an individual from one or more sensors configured to monitor the individuals health status, receiving environment data for the individual and receiving personal context information from the individual, wherein the personal context information includes a perception of how the individual is feeling. Aspects also include correlating the physical condition data, the environment data and the personal context information based on timestamps associated with the physical condition data, the environment data and the personal context information and filtering the physical condition data and the environment data based on the personal context information to create a health status summary and actionable data for the individual.

    • For display of a 3D model (20) in virtual reality (VR), merely converting the CAD display from the 2D screen to a 3D image may not sufficiently reduce the information clutter. To provide metadata for the 3D CAD model (20) with less occlusion or clutter, a separate space (32) is generated in the virtual reality environment. Metadata and information about the 3D CAD model (20) and/or selected part (36) of the 3D CAD model (20) is displayed (58) in the separate space (32). The user may view the 3D CAD model (20) in one space (30), the metadata with or without a representation of a part in another space (32), or combinations thereof.
