摘要： The invention relates to a method for generating a result image using an infrared night-vision device for capturing images. Said method consists of the following steps: (a) a dark image and a light image of a scene are captured, the light image being generated in relation to the dark image by means of an additional illumination and/or by means of a longer exposure time; (b) a transformed light image is generated using a first transformation function on pixel values of the light image, the first transformation function enabling the contrast of the light image to be adapted in order to increase the contrast of a first group of dark image pixel values of the light image and a second group of very light image pixel values of the light image in relation to a third group of pixel values that are between the pixel values of the first and the second groups; (c) a transformed dark image is generated using a second transformation function on pixel values of the dark image, the second transformation function increasing the contrast of a fourth group of dark pixel values of the dark image and reducing the contrast of a fifth group of light pixel values of the dark image, and the fifth group comprises pixel values that essentially cause blending; (d) the resulting image is generated by mixing the pixel values of the respective pixel values of the transformed light image and the corresponding pixel values of the transformed dark image on the respective pixel position. The invention also relates to a device for carrying out said method.
