摘要： There are provided a backlight assembly (200) and an LCD apparatus (110) having the same. A lamp unit (210, 220) is received in a first receiving container (300) having a first bottom surface (350) and a first sidewall (310) so that the lamp unit (210) faces the first sidewall. The lamp unit (210, 220) and the first receiving container (300) are received in a second receiving container (500) having a second bottom surface (550) and a second sidewall (510). A heat transfer member (261, 263) comprised of metal material having superior heat conductivity makes contact with the second receiving container (500) through the lamp unit (210, 220). The heat emitted from the lamp unit (210, 263) and discharged to exterior. Accordingly, the backlight assembly and the LCD apparatus may improve display characteristics thereof.

摘要： There are provided a backlight assembly (700) and an LCD device (1000) using the same. The backlight assembly (700) has an optical sheet (100) for improving light efficiency and optical properties thereof and an elastic adhesive member (130) disposed on the optical sheet (100). When the optical sheet (100) deforms with heat, the elastic adhesive member (130) may be expanded or contracted corresponding to deformation of the optical sheet (100) and absorb impact applied to LCD device. Accordingly, the backlight assembly (700) may prevent the optical sheet (100) from being wrinkled or scratched, thereby preventing display quality of the LCD device from being deteriorated.

摘要： A flat panel display device including a protecting sheet for protecting an upper surface is disclosed. The flat panel display device includes an image display part for displaying an image and a protecting part for protecting an outer surface thereof. The image display part displays the image by varying a voltage applied to electrodes oppositely formed on inner surfaces of a pair of transparent facing substrate respectively to thereby turn on or off each pixel. The protecting part is disposed on an outer surface of the substrate perceived by user's eye from an external shock or foreign matters. Accordingly, the flat panel display device strongly resist the external shock, and the foreign matters are easily remove from the flat panel display device. The anti-glare treatment is carried out on the protecting sheet to thereby prevent dazzling of users due to the reflection of the light.

摘要： In a lamp and method for fabricating the same, an outer surface of the lamp tube is dipped into a conductive transparent solution for forming an electrode by a predetermined depth, and then the lamp tube is pulled out from the solution. Accordingly, an electrode having different profiles is formed on the outer surface of the tube body. Also, the outer surface of the lamp tube is dipped into the solution by an acute angle, and is pulled out from the solution. Therefore, a problem of a nonuniform brightness between lamps is not generated, and light utilization efficiency is much enhanced even when using a plurality of lamp in parallel connected to a power supply.

摘要： Disclosed is a liquid crystal display apparatus (600) having enhanced axial brightness as well as embodying a thin and lightweight LCD. A first light (L1) generated from a light source (120) is incident to a light guiding plate (200). A path of the first light is changed by the light guiding plate (200), and a third light (L3) exits toward a reflecting plate (300). Then, the third light (L3) is reflected on the reflecting plate (300) to be changed into a second light (L2) with enhanced axial brightness. The third light (L3) is converged to be the second light (L2) with enhanced axial brightness by the reflecting late (300) with a surface structure having a triangular prism shape. Thus, the liquid crystal display apparatus is capable of enhancing the axial brightness as well as minimizing the overall dimension and weight.

摘要： Disclosed are a cold cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL), a container having the same and a liquid crystal display device having the container. One of two electrodes is formed at an outer portion of a lamp tube. A part of the other electrode is formed in an inner portion of the lamp tube, and the remaining part of the other electrode is formed at anexterior of the lamp tube. The CCFL is easily coupled/separated to/from the container having a clip type power-supplying module in a clip-coupling manner. Additionally, a shock absorbing member is installed at the clip type power-supplying module to absorb the impact applied to the CCFL. A brightness non-uniformity between CCFLs can be prevented, a power consumption of the CCFL can be reduced, and an assembling work and productivity are remarkably improved.
