The method includes recognizing at least one input object in an image used for generating the animation message, and extracting input information including information about an input time and input coordinates of each object; setting playback information including information about a playback order of each object; displaying the image in a predetermined handwriting region of the animation message; dividing an encoding region, which is allocated in a predetermined portion of the animation message and in which the input information and the playback information are to be stored, into a plurality of blocks having a predetermined size; generating display information of the encoding region by mapping the input information and the playback information to each block in the encoding region; generating an animation message including the handwriting region and the encoding region; and transmitting the generated animation message.
