摘要： The invention relates to a footswitch unit (1) comprising a footswitch (2) and a footswitch extender (3), which footswitch extender (3) comprises an opening (4) ar- ranged to accommodate said footswitch (2), wherein an actuation portion of said footswitch (2) is exposed from a top face (10) of said footswitch extender (3) and is adapted to be actuated with a heel of a user, wherein said actuation portion is extend- ing above said top face (10), said top face (10) comprising a flat portion (5) and a first slope (6) having a downwardly orientated inclination with respect to said flat portion (5), said first slope (6) comprising said opening (4), so that, when the user actuates the actuation portion of the footswitch (2) with his heel, a top face (11,12) of said actua- tion portion lies in the same plane of said first slope (6).
