    • An emanation device comprises an emanation material container (10), an emanation section (20) and emanation material level indication means (30, 32); wherein, the emanation material level indication means (30, 32) comprises control means and weight sensing means adapted to measure a weight or change in weight of emanation material in the emanation material container (10). Preferably, a heated wick-type dispenser comprising a reservoir coupled to a load cell/strain gauge for metering the usage and level of liquid to be dispensed in the reservoir. This information is used by a control unit to control the wick's heater, viz. to switch it off in case the reservoir's level is below a lower threshold. A counting element may sum up the ON-time of the device to calculate and store a life cycle time.
