摘要： The machine comprises: a frame (2) for supporting and moving a band saw (3) which band saw (3) exhibits at least one active tract (4) predisposed to perform a cut on a material, supported by two orientable supports (5), associated to the frame (2), which can rotate about a same horizontal axis (x) and which comprise first (8a, 8b) and second (13a, 13b) wheels respectively for guiding the band saw (3) in a parallel and perpendicular direction to a direction of the cutting force; a sensor (6) is associated to the first wheel (8a) for measuring a reaction force due to the cutting action and acting on the at least one active tract (4) of the band saw (3), which sensor (6) generates a signal which is proportional to the force and activates means (16) for sharpening the band saw blade.
