    • Synchronous HARQ indicator and retransmission timing for TDD reconfiguration in wireless communications systems. HARQ indicator timing for TDD reconfiguration may be based on HARQ indicator timing for one of the pre- or post- reconfiguration TDD configuration, or may be based on a predetermined reference configuration. HARQ retransmission timing for TDD reconfiguration may be determined by predetermined reference configurations and may include remapping to the post- reconfiguration TDD configuration. HARQ retransmission timing may be based on transitional HARQ retransmission timing defining synchronous HARQ retransmission timing for each sub frame having DL resources. Retransmission collisions for cross-boundary HARQ processes may be avoided by suspending HARQ retransmission and/or adaptive UL HARQ techniques. These techniques may be applied to wireless communication systems such as enhanced Interference Management and Traffic Adaptation (elMTA) networks.

First and second subframe types may be identified for TDD subframes to be transmitted using the system. Different power control parameters associated with each subframe type may be identified based on transmission directions in neighboring cells for the particular subframes. One or more TDD subframes to be transmitted may be identified as a first or second subframe type,and power control may be applied to the transmitted subframes according the power control parameter associated with the subframe type. The identification of subframes and power control parameters to be applied to each type of subframe may be transmitted,for example,to a user equipment(UE). The information may be transmitted to a UE, for example,via radio resource control(RRC)signaling or via a physical layer control channel.

    • Methods, systems, and devices are described for reconfiguring a user equipment (UE) to operate in a reconfigured TDD UL-DL configuration. An initial uplink- downlink (UL-DL) configuration for TDD communication may be provided for communication between a base station and a UE. One or more subframes may be identified within at least one half of each frame transmitted using the initial UL-DL configuration as flexible subframes. In one example, a reconfiguration message may be received in a first frame indicating that a transmission direction for the at least one flexible subframe of a second frame is to be changed. The reconfiguration message may include, for example, a two-bit configuration indication which indicates that the UE is to reconfigure a transmission direction for one or more flexible subframes in an associated half-subframe of a second frame.
