摘要： Various embodiments provide methods implemented by a requesting device and a responding device for collectively identifying one or more clusters of nearby computing devices by collaborating and sharing information. In various embodiments, the requesting device may send a distance threshold to responding devices, along with a request for grouping information about computing devices that are within the distance threshold of the responding devices. In response to receiving the request and distance threshold, each responding device may identify a number of other computing devices that are within the distance threshold and may send such information to the requesting device. The requesting device may identify one or more clusters of computing devices based on the received grouping information. By configuring responding devices to detect other computing devices within a modifiable distance threshold, the requesting device may dynamically adjust the size of identified clusters of computing devices.

摘要： Methods and apparatuses are described for asynchronous communications in a sensor network. An indication of a receiving opportunity can be transmitted by a sensor device. The sensor device can then provide the receiving opportunity based at least in part on transmitting the indication, and disable communication resources at the sensor device for a duration of a sleep time following the receiving opportunity. An upstream node can generate information for communicating to a sensor device, receive the indication of the receiving opportunity from the sensor device, and transmit the information to the sensor device during the receiving opportunity based at least in part on receiving the indication.

Fingerprints and/or other biometric data can be captured during the normal use of an electronic device, such as typing on a keyboard, and compared with associated reference biometrics to provide ongoing authentication to an application while the electronic device is being used. Comparison results may further be combined with additional physiological or behavioral biometrics to determine a level of authentication encompassing multiple biometric inputs and/or types.
