    • In an embodiment, a user equipment (UE) coupled to a display screen enters into a reduced blue light (RBL) mode. The UE determines, while operating in accordance with the RBL mode, a degree of blue light reduction in at least a portion of a display frame to be output on the display screen using at least one RBL rule from a set of RBL rules that is based upon one or more of (i) application-specific information of an application that is contributing image data to the portion of the display frame, and (ii) content-specific information that characterizes the image data in the portion of the display frame. The UE selectively reduces the blue light in the at least a portion of the display frame based on the determining. The UE sends the display frame with the selectively reduced blue light portion to the display screen for output.

    • In an example, a method for image processing may include inputting a first pixel value corresponding to a first pixel of an image into a LUT. The LUT may map one or more LUT input values to one or more LUT output values. The first pixel value may correspond to a first LUT input value that maps to a first LUT output value in the LUT. The first pixel may include one or more pixel values. The method may include generating a noise value for the first LUT input value. The method may include generating a first interpolated LUT output value for the first LUT input value based on the noise value. The method may include transforming the image into a transformed image using the first interpolated LUT output value.

    • Embodiments provide bandwidth efficient mechanisms for delivering rich media content, such as webpages, to receiver devices via a multimedia broadcast network. Content, such as selected webpages, is broadcast as disassembled content elements via the broadcast network. To enable reception, the disassembled content elements are broadcast according to a broadcast schedule that is communicated in an overhead content description flow, such as a catalog file. Receiver devices receive the catalog file and use the metadata information to selectively receive disassembled content and store the content elements in memory. When a user requests access to the content (e.g., a webpage via a web browser), an application operating in the receiver device assembles the requested content from the previously received and stored disassembled content elements, and passes the assembled webpage to a using or rendering application.
