摘要： A new tilt sensor system is disclosed which provides substantial temperature independence and is very inexpensive to build and to operate. The apparatus is made up of a first source (1) of a first alternating signal having an output impedance Rs1 and a second source (3) of a second alternating signal which is equal in magnitude and 180 degrees out of phase with the first alternating signal, with the source of the second alternating signal having an output impedance Rs2. Also included is a tilt sensor (11) having a first input terminal (2) coupled to receive the first alternating signal, a second input terminal (4) coupled to receive the second alternating signal, and an output terminal (6) which provides an output signal in response to the first alternating signal and the second alternating signal. In the preferred mode, the tilt sensor has an impedance G1 between the first terminal and the output terminal and an impedance G2 between the second terminal and the output terminal. In addition, Rs1=Rs2 and Rs1 is substantially smaller in magnitude than [G1+G2].

摘要： A magnetometer for measuring a magnetic field has a relaxation oscillator circuit and a measurement element for providing a signalrepresenting the magnitude of the magnetic field. The oscillator includes a sensor having a coil (13) for controlling the period of the oscillator circuit, and the coil having first and second terminals. The oscillator also includes a first resistor (15) coupled to the first terminal and a second resistor (17) coupled to the second terminal. The oscillator also includes a switching element (19) coupled to the first and second terminals and to the input terminal of a driver element (11) for coupling the input terminal alternately to the first and second terminals. A gate element (21) shunts the first resistor to a DC potential when the switching element couples the input terminal of the driver element to the second terminal, and vice versa. the magnetometer will have no output drift when no field is applied.
