摘要： A conferencing method for providing reservation-less instant group conferencing. A subscriber (20) dials (700) in a conference code and a group code in his/her phone (22). The input signal (710) is received in the switch (30a) serving the phone (22) on sensing the conference code activates a trigger (740) which results in communications with a conferencing system (100). The conference call (770) is set up in a conferencing bridge (80a-b) and the phone (22) of the subscriber (20) is routed to the conferencing bridge (80a-b). The conferencing system (100) using group code obtains a group of phone numbers of participants (40a-c) from a database (130) and calls each participant (40a-c) and connects each call participant (40a-c) to the conference call (770). Subscriber (20) setting lists of participants (40a-c) and phone numbers in advance of the conference call (770) with Internet access to the database (130).
