摘要： A laminated vehicular glazing (10, 30) comprising electrical heating means and at least one busbar (11) of electrically conductive material far connecting the electrical heating means to a power source is disclosed. Glazing (10, 30) is constructed from at least two plies of glazing material (21, 22) and a ply of interlayer material (23) extending therebetween. The electrical heating means may include an array of wires (12) or a conductive coating (31). The electrically conductive material is a polymeric material (preferably a thermoplastic) having electrically conductive particles (preferably silver flakes) dispersed within it. Further disclosed is: a) a method of manufacturing a laminated vehicular glazing (10, 30) including the step of imparting heat to the electrically conductive material as it is applied to a surface of glazing (10, 30) thereby creating an adhesion between the two, and b) an apparatus (70) far manufacturing a laminated vehicular glazing (10, 30) comprising means far dispensing (72) the electrically conductive material onto a surface of glazing (10, 30) and means to pre-heat (73) the surface of glazing (10, 30) prior to the electrically conductive material being dispensed.

摘要： A glazing comprises a glass substrate having a layer of enamel adhered to at least a first portion of its surface, the enamel comprising 20 to 80 wt% frit and 10 to 50 wt% inorganic pigment. The thickness of the layer of enamel is in the range 2 µm to 50 µm, and the inorganic pigment has an infra-red reflectance such that the infra-red reflectance of the first portion of the surface of the glass substrate is 37% or higher over a region in the wavelength range 800 nm to 2250 nm. The glazing may be laminated, and may be a windscreen for a vehicle. Also disclosed is a process for producing the glazing by applying an ink to a glass substrate, curing the ink thereby producing an enamel adhered to the glass substrate, and shaping the glass substrate by heating to a temperature above 570°C. The preferred inorganic pigments are of the Fe and/or Cr type in spinel, haematite or corundum crystal form.
