    • The invention is directed to providing a communication interface in a network appliance that enables a software update for the network appliance to be securely and wirelessly provided by a mobile node over a relatively limited (short) distance with a mobile node. The operator of the mobile node is authenticated and communication between the network appliance and the mobile node is encrypted. Even if an unauthorized person was able to be positioned in relatively close proximity to a network appliance such as within the physical confines of a data center, these authentication and encryption measures make it difficult for an unauthorized update to be provided to the network appliance. Updating the software for a network appliance can include one or more actions including, but not limited to, deleting existing files, rebooting, uploading new files, such as binaries, scripts, JAVA applications, and the like.

    • The present invention is a device that provides a trouble free method to invert glove appendages expeditiously; especially but not exclusively, industrial, heavy duty, lined, rubber gloves; to facilitate efficient cleaning and subsequent rapid drying of the lining, which consists of a base (1) that has a cavity (2) and a pushrod (3) that fits into the cavity (2) in the base (1) to be securely mounted therein, wherein the exposed cavity (2) in the tip of the pushrod (3) provides a means to insure continuous engagement of the tip of the glove appendage while the glove is peeled down over the pushrod (3), thereby accomplishing complete inversion of the glove appendage.

    • A method and system for providing protection from exploits to devices connected to a network (500). The system and method include a component (520) for determining whether an encapsulation has been applied to an attachment and unencapsulating such encapsulated attachments, a component (525) that performs at least one decompression of the attachment when the attachment is compressed, a component that determines whether a header, body, and/or attachment of a message includes an exploit, and a component that holds and optionally cleans messages that include exploits. A device that receives messages that are directed to the network employs the components above to provide exploit protection for at least one of the messages.
