    • The invention provides a method and apparatus for transferring feelings between first and second users over long distances, having a tactile module and a wireless connection module. The tactile module responds to an isolated tactile stimulus by a first user, for providing a tactile module signal containing information about the stimulus, and also responds to a wireless connection module signal containing information about a reply stimulus signal from a second user, for providing a reply stimulus that can be sensed by the first user. The wireless connection module responds to the tactile module signal, for providing a first wireless signal containing information about the stimulus to be received by a mobile phone or terminal, and also responds to a second wireless signal containing information about the reply stimulus and being received from the mobile phone or terminal, for providing the wireless connection module signal to the tactile module.

    • A portable vibrating device has two electrical motors each having an axle and a weight element coupled to the axle. The axles couple the electrical motors to the weight elements. The weight elements form a weight unit having a total mass m and having a mass centre with an offset r in respect to a rotational axis. The weight units are angular dispositioned to different angular dispositions for varying the amplitude of vibration according to a desired scheme. The angular disposition is controlled by the rotation of the electrical motors. The divice may be able to receive messages and to play the by varying the amplitude of vibration accordingly.

    • An illuminated cover (10), a ptethod of making such a covered and a covered electronic device. An electroluminescent foil (36) overlies a thin, rigid support base (30), and an insulating foil (38) overlies the electroluminescent foil (36). A first opening (40a) allows insertion of an electrical connector for the electroluminescent foil.
