摘要： A user equipment UE receives an indication that another cell apart from a serving network cell is a private network cell, determines that it is restricted from accessing the another cell, and excludes measurements of the another cell from uplink measurement reports that it sends to the serving network cell. The indication may be received in dedicated downlink signaling (handover command after a triggered measurement report), or broadcast from the serving cell or the private cell and the UE sees the private cell is not on its private cell whitelist. Depending on who sent the indication, the UE may signal the serving or a next eNB that it is restricted access to that private cell. The indication may be that an entire frequency layer is restricted access. The UE carries over its neighbor list from the most recent cell on which it was camped when transiting the restricted private cell.

摘要： Access verification is adaptively done using an identifier of a first or a second length, by comparing a field of a node address that has the determined first or second length against a locally stored access list. At least the compared field of the node address is either added to a locally stored list of cell selection candidate nodes where the access list is allowed identifiers, or excluded from it where the access list is restricted identifiers. The node identifier is in three sections. The first section is service type, which the UE can use to determine whether or not it is restricted/allowed. The first length is the length of the second section, which is a service area ID of a group of network nodes. The second length is the length of the second section plus the third section, which identifies one node of the group of network nodes.

Paging occasions for a user equipment are determined by a predetermined formula. One exemplary formula is SFN mod IDLE_Mode_DRX_Period = (IDLE_Mode_DRX_Period div Paging_Group__Count) * (ID) mod (Paging_Group_Count); where SFN is system frame number and ID is the identifier of the user equipment, which can be IMSI or some value derived from IMSI. The UE's temporary ID is sent during a determined paging occasion, which maps to a paging channel on which the page is sent. Options for restricting the paging occasion to less than a frame, and for offsetting the paging occasions from that of the above formula are detailed.
