摘要： A method, apparatus and computer program are provided for choosing the best image of multiple images that have been captured using a burst capture mode of a digital camera. The method comprises: storing a series of images in a buffer (301 ) over a period of time; analyzing at least some of the images in the buffer (302), or derivatives of at least some of the images in the buffer, during the period of time in order to identify at least one image having at least one particular characteristic; and deciding to keep the at least one image (303), in response to identifying that the at least one image has the at least one particular characteristic. The particular characteristics may relate to the sharpness or brightness of the image, or the presence of an object or a person in the image.
