    • This document discloses methods, apparatuses, and computer programs for selecting and providing a terminal apparatus of a wireless network with services. The terminal apparatus selects a wireless apparatus to provide the terminal apparatus with at least a first service. Then, it causes transmission of an association request to the wireless apparatus, wherein the association request comprises at least one information element indicating whether the request relates to provision of the first service without a second service or to provision of both the first service and a second service, wherein the second service is different from the first service and is subjected to the presence of the first service. Upon approval acquired from the wireless apparatus, the at least said first service is received from the wireless apparatus.

    • A system for managing the enablement of beaconing in apparatuses operating in reallocated bandwidth corresponding to a geographic area. For example, apparatuses may initially determine whether they desire to operate as beaconing-type apparatuses or non- beaconing-type apparatuses. The apparatuses may then transmit enablement request frames comprising at least apparatus identification information and the previously determined desired beaconing or non-beaconing apparatus type. Apparatuses may then receive enablement request frames that at least designate the apparatuses as first tier beaconing apparatuses, second tier beaconing apparatuses or non-beaconing apparatuses. The apparatuses may then proceed to configure themselves based on the enablement information.

    • Method, apparatus, and computer program product embodiments are disclosed for wireless resource sharing between heterogeneous wireless networks to enable coexistence of secondary networks. An example embodiment of the invention includes a method, comprising: receiving, at an apparatus or entity, information associated with a wireless network; determining, by the apparatus or entity, a geographic communication area and one or more geographic interference areas associated with the wireless network based on the received information; transmitting, by the apparatus or entity, a message to a destination to register the wireless network and the determined geographic communication area and one or more geographic interference areas associated with the wireless network; and receiving, by the apparatus or entity, confirmation of the registering of the wireless network at the destination and information associated with zero or more wireless networks that at least one of potentially interfere with the determined geographic communication area associated with the wireless network, or potentially experience interference caused by the determined one or more interference areas associated with the wireless network.
