The mobile station also includes a context engine (102) capable of storing context-related information based upon the portion of the condition(s), where the context engine is also capable of managing an exchange of the context-related information with at least one context consumer. The mobile station further includes a privacy engine (112), a script engine (118) and a communication manager (114). The privacy engine can provide security and/or privacy to the exchange of the context-related information. The script engine can execute at least one context rule relating to at least a portion of the context-related information. And the communication manager can communicate with at least one context consumer external to the mobile station for the exchange of context-related information.

摘要： A context compass method and system for accessing and browsing contextual information about a location surrounding a user equipment includes a database in a network comprising contextual information and a locating service for determining a location of the user equipment. Once the location of the user equipment is determined, the contextual information is downloaded from the database to the user equipment via a wireless connection. The contextual information comprising virtual objects in the neighboring area surrounding the user equipment is displayed relative to the location of the user equipment. One of the virtual objects may be selected by orienting the user equipment until the object to be selected is in a target space in front of the user equipment. Once an object is selected, the user can access information about the virtual object by activating the virtual object in the target space via an input device on the user equipment.
