摘要： A column element for a column of a liquid chromatography comprises a cylindrical porous glass support and a polyether ether ketone resin layer formed on the side of the porous glass support, wherein the resin layer comprises a resin-impregnated layer formed on the inner side of the porous glass support and an outer clad layer formed on the outer side of the porous glass support, and the resin-impregnated layer is continuous with the outer clad layer. A column using this column element is also disclosed. The column element is produced by dipping the cylindrical porous glass support in the resin composition of polyether ether ketone so as to allow the side surface of the porous glass support to be impregnated with the resin composition, and then baking the support. This column is free from short-path, leak and leak of impurities under the HPLC operation condition, and accomplishes high resolution.
