摘要： A sole structure includes an outsole having an outsole body defining an inner body surface and an outer body surface opposite the inner body surface. The outsole has a plurality of traction elements each extending from the outsole body away from the inner body surface. Each of the traction elements includes a base coupled to the outsole body surface. Each of the traction elements includes a tip spaced apart from the outer body surface and has a pitch defined by a vector. The pitch of each of the plurality of traction elements varies as a function of a distance from the central axis to a respective traction element.

摘要： Articles of footwear (200) include a first (e.g., medial) side (202) and an opposite second (e.g., lateral) side (204). Such footwear (200) may include: (a) an upper (210) having an instep portion (210I); (b) a sole structure (220); (c) a heel support (400) engaged with at least one of the upper (210) or the sole structure (220) on the first side (202); and (d) a forefoot support (300) engaged with at least one of the upper (210) or the sole structure (220) on the second side (204). The heel support (400) may include: (a) a bottom heel support portion (404) forming a first side heel plantar support surface at the first side (202), and (b) a sidewall portion (402) extending upward from the bottom heel support portion (404). The forefoot support (300) may include: (a) a bottom forefoot support portion (304) forming a second side forefoot plantar support surface at the second side (204), and (b) a sidewall portion (302) extending upward from the bottom forefoot support portion (304). A strap system (e.g., 260H, 260F, 560H, 560F) releasably connects the heel support (400) and the forefoot support (300) across the instep portion (210I).

A securing system is provided that includes: (i) a first strap portion extending across the instep area, engaging the lateral strap tensioning component, and extending in front of the foot-insertion opening to the medial ankle side (where it may be secured), and (ii) a second strap portion extending across the instep area, engaging the medial strap tensioning component, and extending in front of the foot-insertion opening and to the lateral ankle side (where it may be secured). The first and second strap portions cross one another at two separated crossing locations.
