    • A tubular heat recoverable article comprises conductive polymeric material, and has two or more pairs of electrodes positioned on first and second lengths of the article in such a way that the electrical current flows substantially parallel to the surface of the article, to recover the first and second lengths of the article independently of each other. Each of the electrodes of the second pair of electrodes are rotated with respect to respective ones of the electrodes of the first pair of electrodes, preferably by about 90 degrees. This rotational offsetting of the electrodes minimises the current concentration at the inwardly directed electrode ends, and avoids the desirability of including a long non-recoverable section between electrodes on different lengths of the article.
