    • Methods and systems for displaying messages using body-worn electronic display devices. One method (100) includes receiving proximity data indicating a distance between a first electronic display device (20) and a second electronic display device (42). The method (100) also includes receiving first orientation data indicating an orientation of the first electronic display device (20) and receiving second orientation data indicating an orientation of the second electronic display device (42). The method (100) also includes determining a distributed message for display based on the proximity data, the first orientation data, and the second orientation data. The distributed message includes a first message (120) for display on the first electronic display device (20) and a second message (122) for display on the second electronic display device (42). The method (100) also includes displaying, by a controller, the first message (120) on the first electronic display device (20) and the second message (122) on the second electronic display device (42).

    • A force-scalable stationary interface control is provided. The control includes a knoblike structure including an axis and a fixed surface located at least partially around the axis, and a touch sensor located at least partially around the fixed surface, the touch sensor configured to sense a plurality of different levels of applied pressure and locations of touch input. The control further includes at least one output device. The control further includes a controller configured to: identify a first level of applied pressure sensed at the touch sensor, identify a scrolling action based on a detected change in locations of the touch input sensed at the touch sensor, identify a current scale of the scrolling action based on an identified first level of applied pressure, and control the at least one output device to provide an identified current scale and an identified scrolling action.
