    • A method and system controls a transition between utilizing an envelope tracking (ET) mechanism and using an average power tracking (APT) mechanism to provide power to a power amplifier. A power amplifier controller (PAC) initiates an ET mechanism to track changes in amplitudes of a radio frequency (RF) signal being received by the power amplifier. If the PAC determines that the RF signal bandwidth is low and the average amplitude is at least equal to a threshold value, the PAC maintains the ET mechanism. If the RF signal bandwidth is high and/or the average amplitude of the RF signal is less than the threshold value, the PAC temporarily deactivates the ET mechanism and controls a transition to utilizing the APT mechanism by properly synchronizing the transition to the change in average signal amplitude levels so there are no undesired transients affecting signal quality or spectrum.

    • A method and system configures a wireless communication device to support simultaneous signal propagation using a single narrow band antenna. An antenna tuner controller (ATC) configures a tunable low band matching circuit to provide a first antenna matching in order to support propagation of a low band signal with a first signal path. The ATC configures a tunable high band matching circuit to provide a second antenna matching which can support propagation of a high band signal within a second signal path. In addition, the ATC provides isolation between the tunable matching circuits, utilizing a diplexer circuit having a low band component coupled to the first signal path and a high band component coupled to the second signal path. The ATC simultaneously propagates the low and high band signals using a single, shared narrow band antenna coupled to the first and second signal paths.

    • A radio frequency (RF) communication device comprises a first signal propagating circuit and a second signal propagating circuit, which together enables simultaneous transmission. The first signal propagating circuit is configured with a first tunable notch filter within a first transmit path and the second signal propagating circuit is configured with a second tunable notch filter within a second transmit path. A controller is communicatively coupled to a respective first tuning component and second tuning component of the tunable notch filters.
