摘要： A composite structure comprising at least one transparent or translucent panel member having at least two surfaces to said panel member wherein at least one of said surfaces has a adhesive and/or sealant comprising a hot melt vulcanizate composition disposed on at least a portion thereof; wherein said hot melt vulcanizate composition is made by the process comprising: In one embodiment herein there is provided a hot melt vulcanizate composition made by the process comprising: a) producing a reaction product (i) from (1) at least one first resin selected from the group consisting of thermoplastic polymer and elastomeric polymer, (2) at least one unsaturated carboxylic acid anhydride, (3) at least one alkylamine possessing two or more amine functionalities, and optionally (4) at least one free-radical generating catalyst, and wherein said reaction product (i) optionally further comprises. at least one first additive; and, optionally, b) blending said reaction product (i) with at least one second resin selected from the group consisting of thermoplastic polymer and elastomeric polymer, provided that at least one of second resin is different from at least one of first resin and, optionally, at least one second additive; c) curing said reaction product (i), wherein reaction product (i) has been blended as in (b) above, or not, to produce a hot melt vulcanizate composition; and, optionally, d) adding at least one third additive to the hot melt vulcanizate composition; wherein a composite structure is comprised of said panel member.

摘要： In one embodiment herein there is provided a hot melt vulcanizate composition made by the process comprising: a) producing a reaction product (i) from (1) at least one first resin selected from the group consisting of thermoplastic polymer and elastomeric polymer, (2) at least one unsaturated carboxylic acid anhydride, (3) at least one alkylamine possessing two or more amine functionalities, and optionally (4) at least one free-radical generating catalyst, and wherein said reaction product (i) optionally further comprises, at least one first additive; and, optionally, b) blending said reaction product (i) with at least one second resin selected from the group consisting of thermoplastic polymer and elastomeric polymer, provided that at least one of second resin is different from at least one of first resin and, optionally, at least one second additive; c) curing said reaction product (i), wherein reaction product (i) has been blended as in (b) above, or not, to produce a hot melt vulcanizate composition; and, optionally, d) adding at least one third additive to the hot melt vulcanizate composition.

These crosslinkable silane-containing compositions contain a mixture of antioxidants, light absorbers and stabilizers that provide resistance to the levels of chlorine used in potable water and to light, thereby extending the useful life of said articles made therefrom, such as potable water pipes and valves, bottles, tanks, and the like.

摘要： A process for making a thermoplastic vulcanizate includes blending a thermoplastic first polymer, an elastomeric second polymer, a carboxylic anhydride, a free radical generator, and a particulate reinforcing material to provide a first blend containing the thermoplastic first polymer and grafted elastomeric second polymer with the particulate reinforcing material dispersed therein, the particulate reinforcing material having sufficient surface moisture to permit coupling to the thermoplastic first polymer and the elastomeric second polymer upon reaction with a coupling agent; then, combining a coupling agent with the first blend for coupling the thermoplastic first polymer and/or grafted elastomeric second polymer with the particulate reinforcing material and/or crosslinking the grafted elastomeric second polymer.
