    • The plug connector 20 is provided with a housing 22 into which the receptacle connector 10 is to be inserted, and a plurality of pin terminals 23 arranged in the housing.     • A circuit board edge connector includes an insulative housing and two opposing mating ends with a plurality of conductive terminals supported by the housing and extending between the two ends. One end of the connector mates with an opposing connector and the other end has a slot disposed therein that receives the mating edge of a printed circuit card or board. The terminals at the end of the connector extend outwardly in a cantilevered fashion and they terminate in free ends that contact conductive pads on the edge of the circuit card. A preload cap is provided that includes two parts that interfit with each other and with the circuit card mating end of the connector. These preload caps engage the terminal free ends and impart a preload to the terminals so that the circuit card may be easily inserted into the connector slot and the caps are subsequently removed from the connector.

    • A connector mountable to a printed circuit board is disclosed including a non­conductive housing with a plurality of slots, each slot having an opposed first and second end walls with grooves in each end wall and a plurality of terminals (41). Each terminal has a longitudinal axis, a retaining base (42), a solder portion (44), a resilient contact arm (43) and an alignment tab (45). The retaining base (42) has opposed edges with each edge fitting into a respective groove in the end walls holding each terminal to the non-conductive housing. The solder portion (44) extends from the retaining base (42) adjacent to the first end wall of the slot for soldering to the printed circuit board. The resilient contact arm (43) has opposed first and second sides extending from the retaining base (42), the first side of the arm is located adjacent the second end wall of the slot. The contact arm (43) is adapted to engage with a terminal (21) from a mating connector. The resilient contact arm and the solder portion (44) are offset from each other in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis of the terminal. A locating tab (45) is stamped from the retaining base (42) with one end adjacent the second side of the resilient contact arm so that the second side of the resilient contact arm will engage the one edge of the locating tab if a side force is placed on the resilient contact arm (43) causing it to move away from the first side wall of the slot.

    • A method of tracking and acting on events related to the delivery of a mail piece is provided. An integrated record associated with an addressee of a mail piece is created.     • A module socket for use with camera modules has an insulative housing with a base and four walls extending upward. The base and walls have L-shaped terminal-receiving cavities that receive terminal therein. The terminals extend between the two legs of the L-shaped cavities so as to position a terminal contact portion in opposition to contacts on the bottom surface of a camera module. Two metal retainers are applied to two opposing walls of the housing and these retainers have locking arms that extend horizontally into the interior space of the housing. The locking arms each include separate angled guide members and engagement members, the first of which guide a module into the socket and the second of which retain the module in place within the socket.
