摘要： The present invention relates to a method for coating a surface of a continuous web which fibrous portion consist of papermaking fibres, with a coating powder. The method comprises the steps of allowing the web to move between electrodes, which are in different potentials, applying the coating powder comprising inorganic material and polymeric binder material on the surface of the web by utilizing the difference in the electric potential, and finishing the coated surface of the web. The coating powder comprises 10.1 - 99.5 wt.-% of inorganic material. The present invention also relates to a dry surface treated sheet material.

摘要： A method and assembly is disclosed for manufacturing a two-layer coated paper web, the method comprising the steps of applying a coating furnish layer to at least one surface of said paper web, drying the applied coating furnish layer to a point allowing a next coating layer to be applied thereon. Onto the first coating layer is applied a second coating layer that is dried. The application of successive coating layers is continued until the desired coat thickness is attained. The coating layers are applied using a metering film transfer method operating without leveling of the applied coating layer by doctoring, whereby in at least one of said coating layers is used a furnish having a solids content of not less than 62 %.

摘要： Method and equipment for two-sided coating of a moving paper or board web (W), in which method a coating slip is applied to a first surface (S¿A?) of the web using a gravity-based method for application of the coating slip, the web's (W) direction of travel is turned by 120 -200°, the coating slip is applied to a second surface (S¿B?) of the web using a gravity-based method for application of the coating slip, and both sides (S¿A?,S¿B?) of the web are dried. The devices for applying the coating slip to the surfaces (S¿A?) of the web include two application beams (11,16), which are located above the web and which have a supply gap or supply holes to pour out the coating slip with the aid of gravity on to the surface to be coated. At the run of the web (W) remaining in between these application beams (11,16) turning devices (22) are fitted for changing the web's direction of travel by 120-200° after coating slip has been applied to the first surface (S¿A?) of the web.
