    • The invention relates to a method in the finishing of a fiber-web machine, in which method, reeling a full-width web (W) completing from the fiber-web machine by a reel-up (30) into parent rolls (33A) and finishing the parent rolls (33A) by at least one slitter-winder (20), on which the parent roll (13, 33A) is unwound, the unwound web is slit in the longitudinal direction by slitter blades (34, 35) into partial webs which are wound on the winding section of the slitter-winder into partial web rolls. In the method, the capacity of the fiber-web machine at least partially exceeds the capacity of at least one slitter-winder and, in the method, the exceeding capacity is wound at least partially into web rolls (33; 33B) directly for further processing.
