摘要： An electrophotographic information printer, particularly for use in connection with electronic data and word processing systems comprises as processing stations a photoconductor station (9), an imaging station (3) in optical information transfer communication with the photoconductor station (9), a developer station (10) having a toner development system and a toner cleaning station (13) arranged in operative relation to the photoconductor station (9), an image transfer station (16) for transferring a toner image on the photoconductor to a sheet-shaped printing material, a first advancing station (17) arranged between the image transfer station (16) and a supply of printing material, a fixation station (23) and a second advancing station (21) arranged between the image transfer station (16) and the fixation station (23). All processing stations (9, 10, 13, 17, 21, 23) having mechanical movement functions are designed as separate, individually replaceable modules for insertion into a machine casing (1, 2) and have each its own independent driving means in the form of an electronic stepping motor. As external connections the modules have only connection plugs (27-29) for direct insertion into terminal connections (30-32) in a coupling unit (33) for connection with an operational voltage source (34) and common programme-controlled control unit (35).

摘要： For stored sheet collection from an electronically controlled sheet printer (1) in connection with a data or word processing system (5) a sheet sorting apparatus is designed as a supplementary unit (7) comprising a sheet supply slit (8) located opposite a sheet discharge slit (2) of the sheet printer (1). To selectively activate sheet guide means (14) the sorting apparatus comprises a control unit (16) connected into the signal transmitting connection between the data or word processing system (5) and the sheet printer (1) and is programmed to separated sorting control codes added in the data or word processing system (5) to the character information and printing control codes determined for a print page. When used in a multi-user system with a group of sorting bins (13) connected with each individual user device (5 to 5c) the sheet printer and the sorting apparatus (7) may be used simultaneously by the users.

摘要： A driving shaft (2) is through a drive wheel (5) and a transmission (6) connected with a transmission wheel (7) for a driven shaft (8). The transmission wheel (7) is floatingly journalled in a supporting member (4) and includes a hub (9) having a central boring accommodating a coupling means for releasably connecting the driven shaft and the hub (9) and which at the side of the hub (9) facing away from the member (4) merges into a guide surface for centering the hub in relation to the shaft (8). The driven shaft is in its axial direction displaceable between a position in which the shaft is pulled clear of the hub (9) and a position in which the shaft end is inserted into the coupling means. Due to the floating bearing of the transmission wheel and the self-centering of the hub in relation to the shaft (8) when inserted into the hub the shaft may be journalled at comparatively coarse tolerances.
