    • An anchor (10) for maintaining a portion of a therapy delivery element (20) within a desired location of a patient has (i) a first opening (12), (ii) a second opening (14), (iii) a body member f (ll) formed of elastic material disposed between the first and second opening, (iv) and a lumen (15) extending through the body member (11) from the first opening (12) to the second opening (14), and (v) a retention element (16) secured to or integrally formed with the body member (11) for retaining the anchor (10) within a tissue location of a patient. The body member (11) has a first inner diameter defined by the lumen (15) in a relaxed state and a second inner diameter defined by the lumen (15) in a radially stretched state. The first inner diameter is smaller than the outer diameter of the therapy delivery element (20), which is smaller that the second inner diameter.

    • An implantable lead body for a medical device with improved conductor lumens separates and insulates conductors while permitting access to the conductors through the implantable lead outer surface. The implantable lead comprises a lead body, a stylet lumen, at least one conductor lumen, and at least one axial slit in the lead body. The lead body has a proximal end, a distal end, an internal portion, and an external portion. The stylet lumen is formed in the internal portion. The conductor lumen is formed in the internal portion and positioned near an outer surface of the internal portion such that there is only a web between the conductor lumen and the outer surface of the internal portion. The axial slit is formed in the lead body distal end between the conductor lumen and the outer surface of the internal portion.
