The method includes the steps of placing first and second sets of the articles onto spaced apart loading panels (14, 18) of a carton blank (10) so that the article sets are spaced apart with an unloaded further panel (16) of the blank disposed between the article sets, raising the spaced loading panels (14, 18) together with the respective sets of articles to transfer the sets of articles to the unloaded further panel (16) so that the unloaded further panel (16) becomes the loaded base of the carton and the loading panels become opposed side panels of the carton.

摘要： One or more disposable funnels are provided as integral and detachable portions (D) of the walls (108) of a carton (100) in which containers of a pourable product are enclosed. The funnels (H) can be constructed by the carton walls. Each funnel is defined by a substantially continuous severance line (202) that distinguishes the periphery of the funnel from the remainder of the carton wall. The funnel is detached from the carton wall by breaking the severance line. Then, the funnel is configured for use by folding or otherwise reshaping the funnel to include a channel (C) for controlling the flow of the pourable product as it is poured from a container.

摘要： The carton is convertible into two display trays (124, 126) on which tapered articles (10) may be displayed. The trays (124, 126) can be pivoted about a fold line (100) without disturbing each row of articles (10) in the carton. The fold line (100) is formed in the base (38) of the carton whereas lines (90, 92) of weakening are formed in the top (34), front (32) and rear (36). The top (34) of the carton is provided with a pair of parallel weakened or tear lines (90, 92) that are parallel to the fold line (100) in the base (38). The tear lines (90, 92) in the top (34) extend all the way across the top to define between themselves a removable portion (94). The distance (D1) between the fold line (100) and either tear line (90, 92) of the top (34) is dimensioned such that the two rows of articles may be efficiently separated or uninterleaved from each other while held respectively in the two trays (124, 126) when the two trays are pivoted about the fold line (100).
