摘要： A respective primary sub-channel block is statically allocated to each of the two or more communication devices in an orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) group of communication devices. The respective statically allocated primary sub-channel blocks remain allocated to the second communication devices for transmission of at least two PHY data units. At least some of remaining sub-channel blocks are dynamically allocated among the two or more communication devices for transmission of each of the at least two PHY data units. Indications of the respective sub-channel blocks allocated to the two or more communication devices. A physical layer (PHY) data unit is transmitted to the two or more communication devices or is received from the two or more communication devices. 摘要： Systems and methods are provided for determining channel state information (CSI) at a receiver for feedback to a transmitter to indicate properties of the communication channel. A signal is received at a receiver over a communication channel. An optimization value is determined based on the received signal and a plurality of matrix indicators. An amount of change in wideband properties of the communication channel is determined from the optimization value. Based on the determined amount of change, a CSI including a selected type indicator and selected subset of the plurality of the matrix indicators is selected.

摘要： In a method for generating a data unit, it is determined whether the data unit is to be transmitted using single carrier (SC) modulation or orthogonal frequency division (OFDM) modulation. When it is determined that the data unit is to be transmitted using SC modulation, a header field of the data unit is generated using a first technique to indicate that the data unit conforms to a first protocol and/or whether the data unit conforms to a first PHY mode or a second PHY mode of the first protocol. When it is determined that the data unit is to be transmitted using OFDM modulation, the header field is generated using a second technique to indicate that the data unit conforms to the first protocol and/or whether the data unit conforms to the first PHY mode or the second PHY mode of the first protocol.

The channel access module accesses a channel of an unlicensed frequency band, which includes a plurality of subchannels. The scheduling module generates a schedule for a plurality of high efficiency wireless local area network client stations to transmit data to the access point via the channel of the unlicensed frequency band. The schedule includes information for the plurality of client stations regarding (i) a time slot in which to access the channel without contention to transmit data to the access point via the channel, (ii) a subchannel of the plurality of subchannels to use during the time slot to transmit data to the access point, and (iii) one or more spatial streams to use on the subchannel and during the time slot to transmit data to the access point.

摘要： Embodiments described herein provides a system for detecting data received in a low power low rate (LPLR) data frame format. The system includes a receiver and control circuitry. The receiver is configured to receive a data frame comprising an LPLR preamble portion and an LPLR data portion following the LPLR preamble portion. The LPLR preamble portion and the LPLR data portion occupy a bandwidth that is less than an allowed bandwidth. The control circuitry is configured to determine a mode of the data frame based on whether the data frame has an additional portion, and detect a data field in the LPLR preamble portion from the data frame based on the mode of the data frame.

A Radio Link Control (RLC) layer data packet is generated, and the RLC layer data packet is converted to one or more physical (PHY) layer data packets.
