摘要： A device and method are provided for storing medicaments and foods and/or beverages separately during shelf life, and for mixing the medicaments and foods and/or beverages when ready for use. A body of the device defines a plurality of first chambers for receiving a medicament, and a plurality of second chambers for receiving a food and/or beverage. A first sealing portion is located between the first and second chambers and is movable between a closed position preventing fluid communication between the chambers, and an open position permitting fluid communication between the first and second chambers for mixing the medicament and the food and/or beverage when ready for use. First and second penetrable and thermally resealable portions are in fluid communication with the first and second chambers, respectively, and are penetrable by an injection member to form an injection aperture therethrough and introduce the medicament or the food and/or beverage through the injection member and into the respective chamber, and are thermally resealable to seal the injection apertures and the medicament or food and/or beverage within the respective chamber by applying energy thereto.

A second connector includes a second wiping and sealing member and is connectable to the first connector. During connection, the probe and/or first wiping and sealing member moves between first and second positions, the first wiping and sealing member wipes the probe and maintains a substantially fluid-tight seal therebetween, the probe moves through the second wiping and sealing member, and the second wiping and sealing member engages the probe, forms a substantially fluid-tight seal therebetween, and wipes the probe. 摘要： An apparatus and method are provided for formulating and aseptically filling liquid products. A first liquid source includes at least one first liquid component; a second liquid source includes at least one second liquid component; and a container includes a body defining an empty, sterile storage chamber therein that is sealed with respect to ambient atmosphere. The container is introduced into a sterile filling chamber. A first filling member coupled in fluid communication with the first liquid source is placed in fluid communication with the storage chamber of the container located in the sterile filling chamber, and the first liquid component is aseptically introduced through the first filling member and into the storage chamber. A second filling member coupled in fluid communication with the second liquid source is placed in fluid communication with the storage chamber of the container located in the sterile filling chamber, and the second liquid component is aseptically introduced through the second filling member and into the storage chamber and, in turn, the first and second liquid components are combined into a liquid product formulation within the sterile chamber of the container. The first and second filling members are withdrawn from fluid communication with the storage chamber of the container located within the sterile filling chamber, and the filled storage chamber is sealed with respect to ambient atmosphere to hermetically seal the liquid product formulation within the storage chamber of the container.
