The sun visor occupies at least partially a front opening of the shell enough to be arranged in front of the eyes of the user who is wearing the helmet. The helmet has an articulated mechanism for actuating the sun visor by means of an actuation member which can be actuated manually and is arranged on the side of the shell.

摘要： The present invention concerns an improved protective helmet, particularly but not restrictively for motor sports, which is characterized in that it comprises a shell able to surround at least one portion of a user's skull. The shell comprises lateral extensions able to at least partly surround the lateral portions of a user's face and which delimit laterally a front aperture of the shell.
