摘要： The present invention relates to a reaction unit for air cleaning and an air cleaner comprising the same. It provides a reaction unit for air cleaning comprising a main body having pluAral longitudinal passages therein or consisting of a core having pluaral longitudinal passages therein and a casing covering the outer wall of the core; optionally catalyst deposited on the wall of the passages; and an air supplying means connected to the open inlets of the passages for supplying air to the passages. It, also, provides an air cleaner for removing contaminants in the air by adsorption, oxidation, and/or oxidation-reduction comprising the above-mentioned reaction unit, supporting or housing means for the reaction unit and electric power supplying means for the air supplying means. The air cleaner according to the present invention has a compact structure but can remove effectively ozone, aldehydes, volitile organic compounds, hazardous organic compounds, carbon mono-oxide and/or nitrogen oxides as well as microorganisms indoor.
