摘要： A power-conversion regulator comprising an inductive reactor, an output filter reactor, and a switch for admitting energy to the inductive reactor, additionally comprises computation circuitry responsive to the flux in the inductive reactor, to a reference signal, to an output voltage, and sometimes to an output load current, for computing the quantity of energy that must be supplied to a load and to the output filter reactor to regulate the output voltage or current to a desired relationship with the reference signal during each chopping waveform cycle driving the switch. As the inductive reactor is charged from an input energy source, the computation circuitry predicts whether the energy in the inductive reactor has become adequate for the regulation.

摘要： A switched-mode level-shifter shifts a differential voltage superimposed on a common-mode voltage. In the level shifter, a common-mode inductive reactor has at least two windings, and at least one of the differential voltage and the common-mode voltage are applied to at least one of the windings of the reactor. A switch charges the inductive reactor when caused to be in a first state, where the inductive reactor when charged experiences a change of flux according to the applied voltage. The switch also actuates a reset of the charged inductive reactor when caused to be in a second state, where the inductive reactor when reset reverses the change of flux experienced thereby. A source of a chopping signal is provided to alternately drive the switch between the first and second states, where each of the first and second states is one of in and out of conduction.

摘要： The present invention discloses MOSFET or IGBT switch drive circuitry that uses the gate capacitance and the inherently high gate resistance of such switch devices to provide essentially bistable switching. Gate-charge is injected to enhance the switch device(s), invoking an ON state. Gate-charge is removed to deplete the switch device(s), invoking an OFF state. Circuitry is provided to effect charge removal immediately following charge injection, enabling relatively large switch devices to operate efficiently at several MHz. An arrangement for bipolar switch operation is provided.
